How to Buy

Registration costs nothing; you only need to bring a state issued photo ID. When you are registered to bid, you will receive a bidder number and a catalog of the items in that auction.

Preview allows the bidder to assess any items listed in the catalog. We suggest potential buyers preview items as they are sold as is, where is, with no warranties.

With an absentee bid, the auctioneer will bid for you so you will always be the highest bidder up to your limit. We require a 25% deposit with any absentee bid and you will be notified if your bid was successful. If you are not awarded your bid your deposit will be returned to you.

Proxy is available for any auction once the catalog is posted and works just like an absentee bid only the bid is submitted online with a account.

Online only auctions consist exclusively of online bidding and allow bidders to leave bids up through the designated closing period of the auction, where the highest bidder wins.

Bid live online with our new bidding system! Bidcaller is the online bidding system featured in all our live auctions. Registration is simple, when a catalog is available online simply click on the Bidcaller link and register for the auction.

Live auctions are usually conducted in numerical lot number order until everything is sold. Once an item is announced as “sold” that item is no longer available.

The time frame for payment varies according to auction terms but usually requires at least a 25% deposit before you leave the auction site.
Deposits may be made with MasterCard®, Visa®, or cash. Payment in full may be made by MasterCard® or Visa®, cashier's check, cash, or  wire transfer. Personal or company checks are accepted only with a bank letter of guarantee.

Removal of purchases can change according to auction terms, but usually must be made during removal hours within a few days of the auction or as specified by the auctioneer.
